Backdrop info: Since 2019, due diligence was completed by the OAR Finance Committee, the OAR Executive Committee, and a handful of key members tasked to review the oversight of this project in seeking out options for our statewide association. Every avenue was explored from moving locations. Existing properties were viewed, vacant land inquired of, and many days of research and review by those in leadership tasked with ensuring that the association's best interest is protected.
At the October 2020 Board Meeting, the directors gave the green light to pursue the project forward, and the building task force members met with three different companies, where two proposals could rise to the top. The building task force and executive committee reviewed multiple proposals and landed on using Spur Design on June 6, 2022 and made the recommendation to the OAR Board of Directors.
